two new 2nd Dan black belts promoted in recent gradings!

gradings are done on a progressive basis, which means all students are continuously being observed and assessed by our sensei’s and senior sensei’s. Once the standard in accordance to the British and world Fudoshin system has been met a grading night is held which usually involves continuous fighting and demonstrations of the students knowledge and skill. Once earned grade and belt presentations are held at the end of a class or seminar in a ceremony of respect and accomplishment shared by all.

A 4th Dan Arises

A 4th Dan arises

Congratulations to Sensei Rory Coombe, whom on the 9th December 2018, after a prolonged period of continual assessment, received his 4th Dan/ Yondan Fudoshin Jujitsu from Shihan Kevin King (7th Dan BFA).  This is a historic moment for Shihan King who has been teaching since 1984, as Rory is his first student to reach the level of 4th Dan.
