“A black belt is nothing more than a belt that goes around your waist. Being a black belt is a state of mind and attitude. Even though surrounded by several enemies set to attack, fight with the thought that they are but one.”
Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido
All of our instructors started as white belts in the British Fudoshin Association and have worked their way up through the grades. They are all volunteers, teaching for the love of Martial Arts and are all still actively training.
Instructors take no fees and all monies are used to cover the costs of the club, insurance, its’s equipment and to ensure we don’t ever need to charge for gradings.
All instructors are enhanced DBS cleared to work with children and are affiliated to the British Fudoshin Association.
