How to Tie your Belt the Fudoshin Way

The way you tie your belt in Fudoshin Jujitsu is almost unique and is different to the knot used in most main stream martial arts. You are unlikely to be able to find a guide on belt tieing that achieves the same end product. Therefore please see below for an instructional guide and video on the method we use. Not the easiest knot so practise is recommended.

Note the right belt end should be on top at this stage
By positioning the right end of the belt across the belt to the left you have created a loop on the right. Now wrap the under left end of the belt up and around all layers of your belt. Save the loop for the next stage.
Pull tight and adjust if required to get ends of equal length.
